Tess "Thresher" Donaldson is what most would consider to be a fairly 'small fish' in a wide ocean. She never applies to join the Thunder Force, and instead focuses her attention on localized threats. Caught up in the personal plots and messes of her father, Poseidon and frequently left to deal with smaller and much more immediate problems, she never makes an international splash. Unlike many who don a suit with an intention to become famous, she helps only where she perceives herself to be needed.
Much of her early actions come to light in the aftermath of Omega's Rise. Her father having recently sent her to rescue a nereid from the 'clutches' of Dionysius, she was forced to face a briefly augmented Pan before the demigod relinquished the power of Omega and returned to his old friend's side, humbled. She subsequently took on the forces of the "Cult of Omega" throughout the years after Omega's return to Earth, making it a personal vendetta to take down the Cult and reduce its influence in a series of slightly less than surgical strikes against various agents. Though she was never successful in fully silencing the Cult, her continued and persistent efforts reduced its influence in the US.
She also became embroiled in conflicts with the Torzackian race, a species of bipedal humanoids descended from therapods whose civilization in Pangea was lost to time in an ancient cataclysm, but who were resurrected through the sorcery of Ezio, one of the only remaining members of their race. She would spend most of her time fighting against both these and the Cult while far greater battles brewed that threatened the entire globe, occasionally being dragged into yet another personal mess by Poseidon, usually relating to his rivalries with the god of wine, Bacchus.
